Payment for the Land
Great News: With the help of a fund-raising drive leading up to Diwali / Govardhan Puja, the land for the new temple (the whole 24 acres site) is now paid for in full. We now hold the title to the land free and clear, without any mortgage or payments due.
The land was first purchased three years ago, for $520,000, and it is now appraised at close to $900,000. Thanks to all those who made reaching this wonderful goal possible.

There is no doubt that this project is being guided by the merciful hand of the Lord. First came the permission from the City Council, now we have the land paid for in full. At this very moment, our architects in India are busy working on the construction drawings. Stay tuned as we will be posting their work here soon. We have done some major revisions, bringing the sikharas (temple spires) all the way to the ground, and changed the dome over the main temple hall into a more traditional Vedic form (styled after the historic Govindaji Mandir in Vrindaban).
Yours in the service of Lord Krishna,
